🎬 Film, TV & Digital Media


1. Moonshot Pilot Accelerator (Virtual – TV Writing)

A highly competitive virtual accelerator for TV writers, where 6–8 fellows receive three weeks of industry training before pitching to major studios, production companies, and executives. Past fellows have sold projects, secured representation, and landed staffing positions. Aims to increase representation of women and gender-expansive people in writers' rooms.

💰 Fees: Early bird $49 (April 15), Regular $59 (April 29), Late $69 (May 13), Final $79 (May 27)

2. Sundance Feature Film Program – 2027 Development Track (National – Fiction Feature Screenwriting)

Emerging artists with a work-in-progress fiction feature screenplay can apply for the Screenwriters Lab, Directors Lab, or Screenwriters Intensive. Selected filmmakers receive creative mentorship and the chance to workshop scenes under experienced advisors.

3. The New York LGBTQ+ Film Festival (Global – LGBTQ+ Film/Media)

One of the world's largest queer film festivals, featuring nearly 150 films from 30+ countries. Categories include narrative, documentary, and shorts.

4. Immersive Media Design New Works Incubator + NextNOW Fest (College Park, MD – Immersive Media)

The University of Maryland seeks immersive media artworks, installations, and performances for a nine-week summer development program (June 1–July 31) culminating in The Clarice's NextNOW Fest (September 10–11). Space is limited—apply early.

5. Step Afrika! Company Auditions (Washington, DC – Dance/Performance)

Step Afrika! seeks professional performers with talent and work ethic. Accomplished dancers in stepping, tap, West African, modern, hip-hop, as well as actors, drummers, and singers, are encouraged to audition. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
